New decking, fan-fold insulation, and a white PVC membrane replaced a leaking TPO roof.

We assess the existing roof and explain the findings before recommending a repair or replacement. The membrane, substrate, insulation, drainage, edges and penetrations are considered together.
Your estimate is the plan for your roof. We put the scope, material choices, preparation and relevant details in writing so you can make a confident decision.
PVC is our go-to material for flat and low-slope roofs. On Whidbey Island and in Anacortes, we plan for summer sun, cool wet winters, and changing temperatures. PVC’s flexibility, resistance to UV exposure, and welded seam construction are the reasons we often recommend it for these projects.
Hot-air welding fuses the overlapping membrane surfaces together to form a continuous watertight seam, without an open flame. That connection is one of the qualities we value most. The deck, insulation, attachment, drainage, and flashing still need to work together as a complete roof system.
As temperatures change, roof materials expand and contract. We select the membrane and installation details for the roof’s conditions, and explain the specified assembly before the work begins.
For general material information, see GAF’s PVC roofing resources ↗ and Sika’s explanation of PVC roofing membranes ↗. Product properties and installation details depend on the membrane selected for your project.
The roof’s appearance deserves attention, too. Choose a color that works with your siding, trim and surrounding rooflines. We’ll review physical samples and the specified membrane with you before ordering.
Illustrative colors only. Screen appearance varies. Confirm the exact shade and availability for your selected PVC product using physical manufacturer samples.
Review slope, drainage paths, outlets and signs of retained moisture. Identify preparation and any drainage improvements needed in the proposed scope.
Plan the membrane connections, perimeter details, drains, curbs and roof-to-wall flashing as parts of the same assembly.
Define removal, substrate preparation, insulation or cover board where specified, attachment, cleanup and final review. Explain how concealed conditions will be handled.
A leak does not automatically mean the entire roof needs replacing. We look at the condition of the assembly, the source of the problem and whether a defined repair makes sense.
If replacement is the appropriate direction, we explain what it addresses and what the new system includes. You can compare the recommendation against the condition of your own roof.
We discuss flat and low-slope projects for homes and commercial properties on Whidbey Island and in Anacortes. The roof assessment determines the appropriate system and scope.
Standing water is a reason to investigate drainage and roof condition. The cause, location and condition of the assembly matter. We assess the roof before recommending drainage work, repair or replacement.
Yes, where the assemblies and transition details are compatible. We plan the connection between roof types rather than treating each section independently. Explore our metal roofing and Malarkey shingle systems.
The selected membrane, preparation, attachment, drainage and flashing scope, relevant insulation or cover board, disposal and the process for concealed conditions. The proposal should also identify exclusions and any applicable warranty terms.
