The shingle is one part of the roof. Deck condition, underlayment, flashing, starter, ridge and ventilation all deserve attention in your written scope.

Non-prorated manufacturing-defect coverage for eligible single-family detached primary residences under the Certified Pro warranty.
Malarkey shingles and at least three qualifying Malarkey accessories, installed as a complete Secure Choice™ roofing system by a Certified Pro contractor, following manufacturer instructions and applicable code. The contractor must register the warranty.
The Certified Pro warranty does not include manufacturer-backed contractor workmanship coverage. Any Wind Proof workmanship coverage will be stated separately in your written agreement.
Standard limited wind coverage is 110 mph for 15 years. Qualifying enhanced coverage is 130 mph for Vista AR and Legacy, and 140 mph for Windsor, for 15 years. Required accessories, fastening and installation conditions apply. These are warranty limits, not a promise that a roof cannot be damaged.
Coverage is subject to Malarkey’s full warranty, exclusions, limitations and eligibility requirements. Other property types have different terms. “Non-prorated” does not mean every expense or every cause of damage is covered.

No. The algae warranty addresses specified blue-green algae that can cause dark streaking. Moss is a separate maintenance issue, especially on shaded Northwest roofs.
No. It depends on the contractor, complete system, installation, property eligibility and registration. Your proposal should name the warranty being provided.
